Najaka Pond is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Council Cup Campground is a glorious local campground; swamps don’t sound that great but Black Creek Swamp near Najaka
Pond is quite great. Throughout the months of summer, highs usually are in the 80's at Najaka Pond. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 50's. Throughout the winter the highs are commonly in the 30's while Najaka Pond nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's.
