A visit to Najaka Pond is always a good idea. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Najaka Pond, and the nighttime is a bit chillier of course, regularly in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Najaka Pond temperatures plunge to the 10's. This is a good area for people who like lakes. Lily Lake is a lake close at hand. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Council Cup Campground.

Good hiking is available along the Old Bulldozer Road Trail, and after a long day outdoors Fairfield Inn And Suites By Marriott Hazleton
is a tremendous location to spend a night or two. A perfect place to camp here at Najaka Pond is Moyers Grove Campground and RV, and a great spot for whitewater paddling is Wapwallopen Creek.
