For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's; night lows in the 0's for Murray Pond. Here at Murray Pond you'll possibly meet some folks from East Stroudsburg, and going for a hike along the White Deer Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood.       Murray Pond gets lots of water; June is the month that gets the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. At Kelly Lake Dam close to Murray Pond there are some exciting things to see; if the weather is delightful, you can go for a hike along the Boundary Trail. The snow is pleasant at Ski Big Bear, and paddling on Middle Creek - Lackawaxen Tributary is so much fun. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site.                  A pleasant place to camp here at Murray Pond is Caffrey Recreation Area; the Blooming Grove Trail is a magnificent hiking trail nearby. Get covered with water paddling on Wallenpaupack Creek - East Branch, and Ungers Lake is a glorious lake nearby. After a long day outdoors Tanglewood (Vri) is a great spot to spend a night or two; camping is available at Caffrey Campground. Man, is there lots of fun things to do next to Murray Pond. Spinner Brook is a gorgeous stream that is worth taking a look at, and a day on the slopes of Tanglwood is just what you need. This lake is so wonderful.
