High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime       temperatures at Muncy Reservoir descend into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn New Columbia is a brilliant spot to spend a night or two. Lakes? Sure, Highland Lake is around here. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Muncy Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Riverside Campground is a good location for that, and do take a hike on the Grandad Trail. Have a good hiking adventure along                  the Bushy Ridge Trail; do go to Glade Run if you're here at Muncy Reservoir. The fine people of Sunbury like to hang out nearby; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Lake Chillisquauqe. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Miller Trail, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because White Deer Golf Course is close by. From a rainfall point of view Muncy Reservoir is a rather common place; the month with most of the rain is June while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
