If you are in this part of Pennsylvania make sure to pay a visit to Mud Run Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Rodeway Inn Frackville is a great choice, and during your tour here you'll meet some people from Pottsville for sure. Mud Run Reservoir gets a common amount of rain; June is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. Visit Mud Run while you're here at Mud Run Reservoir, needless to say you could also take a look at Number Three Reservoir while you're here; it's not far at all. Why not check out Mud Run Dam since you're here, and close by you come across the Yellick Path which is a pleasant hiking trail. Pines Camp Ground is a tremendous campground nearby; there are great places to discover along the Sand Spring Trail.
Throughout the warm days of summer, highs regularly are in the 80's at Mud Run Reservoir. Summer nighttime lows
drop down to the 50's. Throughout the winter the highs are generally in the 30's while Mud Run Reservoir night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's. Red Ridge Lake Campground is a wonderful local campground. Float
down the rapids of Black Creek in a kayak, and going for a hike on the Northkill Path is always a great adventure.
Econo Lodge Frackville is a pleasant site to get some rest, and you can never get enough of the magnificent skiing at Blue Marsh.
