Mud Pond is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Tunkhannock is a perfect       local campground, and Mud Pond is not the only site close by, Fish Pond Dam is a close by lake. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can have a look at Stevens Lake Dam, and you can go for a hike on the Pinnacle Trail. If you come at the right time of year, Bowman Creek offers some pleasant whitewater, and from Mud Pond you obtain a great vista of Mount Airy. If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Mud Pond. During the summertime at Mud Pond highs are mostly in the 80's, and the overnight is rather chillier of course, ordinarily in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Mud Pond temperatures drop to the 10's.
