Take a hike on the Pinnacle Trail; golf can be played at MTN Maples Public Golf Course. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Clarks Summit; there are some wonderful whitewater spots on Bowman Creek. Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites GIBSON is a great spot to get some rest, and if you come at the right time of year, Meshoppen Creek offers some delightful whitewater.       This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Shore Forest Campground, and you get a great sight of Coon Hill from here. Just can't get enough of Mud Pond. Lakeside Pond Dam is not far at all from Mud Pond, and Elk Mountain is a great local ski area. Everybody close by loves skiing at Montage Mountain. There's so much to do here at Mud Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Sunrise Lake Family Campgrnds is a splendid place for that, and you're possibly                  into lakes, Lakeside Pond is one of those close by. Don't miss out on a brilliant swamp; Kinney Swamp is right here at Mud Pond. Lakes are delightful; Lord Pond is a lake that's near Mud Pond. Summertime highs at Mud Pond frequently tend to be in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Mud Pond.
