There's so much to do here at Mud Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Slumber Valley Campground is a perfect location for that. An average amount of precipitation falls at Mud Pond; through June this area sees the most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. There are swamps here too; Malone Swamp is close by; Mud Pond is nice enough to spend more than a       day at, Endless Mountain Campground is a nice local campground. Any time is a good time at Mud Pond if you like the outdoors. There are other spots here than Mud Pond, for example Lott Pond, and Quality Inn Binghamton West is a good site to get some rest. You can run the rapids of Bowman Creek close to Mud Pond, and lakes are such peaceful sites, why not stop by Carlin Pond. Summertime at Mud Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's.
