Camping at Caffrey Campground is always a fine experience, and Lake Laura Dam is a place that is near Mud Pond. The peaks of the Pocono Mountains dominate the scenery of this region, and if you're a golfer then a great close by course is Buck Hill Falls CO Golf Club. Yeah, come here to Mud Pond for a great time. Goose Pond is a nearby lake that you could visit; Brodhead Creek is a splendid whitewater       spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. During your spree to Mud Pond you'll meet some people from East Stroudsburg for sure; a spree to Delaware National Scenic River is worthwhile. So much fun stuff to do here at Mud Pond, too tremendous to be true. A tremendous nearby hotel is Shadowbrook Resort, and there's delightful hiking along the Snow Shanty Trail. The amount of rain that falls at Mud Pond is close to the national average; the month of May is                  the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest. A lake close by is Icks Pond, and you can run the rapids of Wallenpaupack Creek - East Branch. The warmest time of the year at Mud Pond comes with high temperatures in the 70's; the night is fairly cooler of course, frequently in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's, and overnight lows throughout the winter for Mud Pond tend to be in the 10's. Pickerel Point is not far from Mud Pond at all, and the Lake Laura Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. Swamps don’t sound that good but Black Ash Swamp close to Mud Pond is relatively good, and if you need a site to stay Skytop Lodge is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. Some nearby water includes Big Inlet, and don't leave Mud Pond without first going for a hike along the Burley Inlet Trail. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Tanglwood, and the top of East Mountain is easily seen from Mud Pond.
