If you like lakes and you're in this part of Pennsylvania you can check out Mud Pond. This lake is so wonderful. The slopes of Tanglwood are so inviting noone can resist; you can go for a hike on the Snow Shanty Trail. Mud Pond gets a common amount of yearly rain; May is the month that gets the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful.

| | - East Branch, and camping is available at Ledgedale Recreation Area. Going for a hike on the Burley Inlet Trail is always a splendid adventure, and a spree to Delaware National Scenic River is worthwhile. What a site this is for outdoors folks. Why not camp at Caffrey Campground if you're here at Mud Pond; you can run the rapids of Brodhead Creek.

if you need a place to stay Skytop Lodge is a magnificent choice. While you're here at Mud Pond you will meet lots of people from close by East Stroudsburg; a delightful close by hotel is Shadowbrook Resort. Gotta ski! Alpine Mountain
is a great place to do that, and the landscape is dominated by the Pocono Mountains.
For the duration of the days of summer, highs mostly are in the 70's at Mud Pond, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. All through
the winter the highs are commonly in the 30's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Mud Pond drop into the 10's. Why not go to a swamp like Black Ash Swamp if you're here at Mud Pond, and here at Mud Pond
you can make out East Mountain. Good hiking is available along the Lake Laura Trail; why not take a little visit to Big Inlet since you're here.
Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff right next door to Mud Pond. Very
great water scenery is available at Lake Laura Dam close to Mud Pond, and since you're here you should take a look at Pickerel Point.
