The beauty of Mud Pond attracts many people from all around. An interesting thing to explore in the neighborhood of Mud Pond is Elmcrest Dam, and you'll come across a beautiful lake called Curtis Reservoir. The high level of rainfall makes Mud Pond a relatively wet place; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain; February is the month with the least moisture. | | paddling is pleasant on Lackawanna River. This lake is so wonderful. Market Street Inn is a glorious place to get some rest, and some of the water nearby flows, like Kellum Creek. High temperatures at Mud Pond through the summertime months are in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. are so inviting nobody can resist; there are magnificent locations to discover along the Refuge Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Mud Pond is good enough to spend more than a day at, Valleyview Farm and Campground is a good local
campground; don't leave Mud Pond without first going for a hike along the Lakeside Trail. There's so much to do here at Mud Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Keen Lake Camping and Cottage Resort is a perfect site for that,
and Wemberly Hills Golf Course is a great golf course nearby. Montage Mountain is a brilliant local ski area. Any time is a great time at Mud Pond if you go for the outdoors. In case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Spring Brook, and brilliant hiking is available along the Choke Creek Trail.
