What a nice lake Mud Pond is. If you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Towanda is a fine choice. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Mud Pond has to offer, you can camp at Armenia Mountain Campground. The annual rainfall here at Mud Pond is about average; June is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is January. This lake is so wonderful. A good close by hotel is Best Western Grand Victorian Inn.

we recommend Sugar Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Mud Pond you'll in all probability meet some folks from Sayre, and going for a hike on the Browns Trail is always a pleasant adventure. During the warm months, highs typically
are in the 80's at Mud Pond, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's while Mud Pond nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's.
