At Mud Pond through the long summer days highs are in the 70's, and the overnight is somewhat cooler of course, generally in the 50's. Through the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 20's, and overnight lows at Mud Pond through the winter ordinarily sink into the 10's. If the weather is good here at Mud Pond, you can go for a hike along the Bryans Trail; glide down the rapids of Elk Creek in       a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Mud Pond you can take a hike along the Bovier Run Trail, and it's a fine idea to explore Alba Creek. From a precipitation point of view Mud Pond is a relatively normal site; the month with most of the rain is June while January is commonly the driest month. And if that's not enough, there's a load more to do near Mud Pond. Going for a hike along the Miles Road Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity.
