Summertime at Mud Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's, and nighttime lows throughout the wintertime for Mud Lake tend to be in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Mud Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Hemlock Valley Campground is a great local campground, and       Wild Rice Lake is a great lake close by. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Buttermilk Falls Campground is a glorious site to do that, and there are other locations here than Mud Lake, for example Crystal Lake. Don't leave Mud Lake without first paying a visit to Angel Falls, and Econo Lodge Williamsport is a delightful place to get some rest. Yep, outdoors entertaining stuff to do are in fact bountiful here at Mud Lake. Kettle Creek Gorge is                  a tremendous site to explore; on a good day you can take a hike along the Ridge Trail. An average amount of rain falls at Mud Lake; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest. Don't forget to take a good little journey to Brunnerdale Run; since you're here you can take a hike along the Falls Run Trail. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Loyalsock Creek, and the Old House Trail is a great hiking trail nearby.
