Mud Lake gets a common amount of annual rainfall; most of the rain falls throughout June, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Fishing Creek - Susquehanna Tributary for all you adrenaline junkies, and not far from Mud Lake you'll discover Grabb Lake which is a beautiful lake. There's so much to do here at Mud Lake that you need to camp       here for a while, Circle Creek Campground is a tremendous spot for that, and if you need a place to stay Sleep Inn ,Inn & Suites is a tremendous choice. This lake is so wonderful. Get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Susquehanna River, and going for a hike along the Camp Echo Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Chestnut Hill is clearly visible from Mud Lake. Lakes? Sure, East Prospect Reservoir is in close proximity.                  Through the days of summer here at Mud Lake, high temperatures regularly reach the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Mud Lake temperatures drop to the 20's. So much amusing stuff in close proximity to Mud Lake, absolutely incredible. If you're here at Mud Lake and you like golf, you can visit Four Seasons Golf Course, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Columbia.
