A visit to Mountain Lake is always a good idea. This lake is so wonderful. At Mountain Lake you always meet someone from East Stroudsburg, and Delaware National Scenic River is a good local destination. All the water falling down from the sky makes Mountain Lake a wet location; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is February.

Skytop Dam is not far at all from Mountain Lake, and why not head up to Mount Airy Lodge and strap some skis to your feet. Alpine Mountain is a very popular ski area in close proximity; going for a hike along the Snow Shanty
Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. It's always tremendous to stop by Indian Ladder Falls; Shadowbrook Resort is a great spot to get some rest.
If you come at the right time of year, Paradise Creek
offers some glorious whitewater, and a tremendous nearby hotel is Skytop Lodge. High temperatures at Mountain Lake through the summertime months are in the 70's with night lows in the 50's. Throughout the winter the highs are ordinarily
in the 20's; nighttime lows at Mountain Lake through the winter typically sink into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Lindenmere Sports & Arts center, and at Mountain Lake you can catch a glimpse of Tar Knob.
