Don't leave Mountain Lake without first going for a hike along the Boundary Trail, and why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Buck Hill Falls CO Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. Skytop Lodge is a wonderful place to get some rest, and if you came to camp Lindenmere Sports & Arts center is a good site to do that. If you come at the right time of year, Paradise Creek offers some good whitewater,       and perfect skiing awaits you at Alpine Mountain. There are great spots to look at along the Snow Shanty Trail. Mountain Lake is a quite wet place generally with a lot of precipitation; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Why not stop at Skytop Dam while you're here, and Delaware National Scenic River is a magnificent local destination. This lake is so wonderful.                  Indian Ladder Falls is an inspiring site to explore during your stay. Lakes are splendid; Skytop Lower Lake is a lake that's in close proximity to Mountain Lake. There's so much to do here at Mountain Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Ledgedale Recreation Area is a brilliant location for that, and Mount Airy Lodge has glorious slopes and a friendly staff. This is a good area for people who like lakes. Lower Lake is a lake around here, and soar down the rapids of Wallenpaupack Creek - East Branch in a kayak. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a perfect time here at Mountain Lake. Going for a hike on the Burley Inlet Trail is always a tremendous adventure, and from Mountain Lake you get a glorious sight of Tar Knob. Now, you may think that's loads but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Mountain Lake. After a long day outdoors Shadowbrook Resort is a pleasant place to spend a night or two, and Mountain Lake is a location with many visitors from East Stroudsburg. Throughout the summertime months, highs regularly are in the 70's at Mountain Lake, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's.
