It's always fun to stop by Mountain Lake. Be careful coming to Mountain Lake, you might not ever wanna go back home again. What would winter be without some skiing at Jack Frost, and Nay Aug Falls is a striking place to pop by while you're at Mountain Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Have a good hiking adventure along the Pinnacle Trail, and Mountain Lake is not the only spot close by, Lake Scranton is a close by lake. Lake Scranton Dam is gorgeous and it's near

| | Mountain Lake, and lots of people from Scranton—Wilkes-Barre come here. Hiking along the Refuge Trail is great fun, and in case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Lackawanna River. Mountain Lake gets a good deal of water; the wettest month of the year is typically June, that's the one that rains the most while February is ordinarily the driest month. Gorge. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Mountain Lake. Pine Hills Country Club is a great golf course close by; the slopes of Montage Mountain are so inviting noone can resist. This lake is so wonderful. You could
also pop by Cooling Pond if you're here at Mountain Lake; it's close by, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Choke Creek Trail. Clarion Hotel Scranton is a great site to get some rest, and if you came for an overnight
stay Lake Greeley Camp is a brilliant spot to camp. For the period of the summertime months highs here at Mountain Lake reach the 70's while overnight lows are generally in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the
20's with temperatures at Mountain Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. Dry warm beds await you at Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel Scranton, and How Kola Camp is a good local campground. Take a little tour to Mountain
Lake Run since you're here at Mountain Lake, and a splendid place for whitewater paddling is Spring Brook.
