At Mount Holly Springs Reservoir you can observe Hammonds Rocks; there's splendid hiking along the Kings Gap Hollow Trail. Carlisle - Days Inn is a perfect place to get some rest; if you come at the       right time of year, Conewago Creek - West offers some fine whitewater. Mount Holly Springs Reservoir gets a typical amount of precipitation; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Carlisle Super 8 Motel is a great site to spend a night or two; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Ski Liberty is quite near.
