Camping is available at Best Beach Campground, and the summit of Jacks Mountain can be seen from Mosquito Run Reservoir. And that's not all you can do here at Mosquito Run Reservoir.       This lake is so wonderful. A delightful place to camp here at Mosquito Run Reservoir is Sharon's Place; Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Williamsport is a great site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is great on Larrys Creek, and the Second Gap Trail is a pleasant hiking trail nearby. Jacks Hollow is a glorious place to pop by nearby, and if the weather is pleasant, you can go for a hike along the Culbertson Trail. You just                  can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the area close to Mosquito Run Reservoir has to offer. In case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on White Deer Creek, and on a brilliant day you can take a hike along the Peter Buck Trail. The amount of precipitation that falls at Mosquito Run Reservoir is close to the national average; the month with most of the rain is June; the driest of the months is January. Lycoming Creek is a pretty stream that is worth going to, and Mosquito Run Reservoir is not far at all from Williamsport. High temperatures at Mosquito Run Reservoir through the days of summer are in the 70's while overnight lows are usually in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Mosquito Run Reservoir dipping down into the 10's through winter nights.
