This lake is so wonderful. High temperatures at Moon Lake during the summertime are in the 80's while night lows are commonly in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Moon Lake. If you need a location to stay Ramada Plaza Hotel On-The-Square is a great choice; you can run the rapids of Wapwallopen Creek. There's whitewater on Harveys Creek for all you       adrenaline kick people; why not check out Pikes Creek Dam while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Genetti Hotel & Convention Center, and camping is available at Moyers Grove Campground and RV. From a rainfall point of view Moon Lake is a rather normal place; the month with most of the rain is June; the driest month is January. This is a magnificent area for folks who like lakes.
