lake in the vicinity of Mokoma Lake, and Holiday Inn Express BLOOMSBURG is a wonderful location to get some rest. Hiking along the Irish Settlement Trail is tremendous fun, and you're sure to encounter some good people from Bloomsburg-Berwick
here. Going for a hike along the Rock Run Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Loyalsock Creek. This lake is so
wonderful. There are other places here than Mokoma Lake, for example Celestial Lake, and do take a hike on the Pole Bridge Trail.

Hunters Lake
 | We hiked around Hunters Lake in November. It was a rainy weekend and some of the trail was very wet but it was a flat, easy hike and the soggy ground was not hazardous. Parking is on the opposite side of Brunnerdale from the lake. Follow the gold blazes to hike around the lake. They begin on your left after crossing the dam. The last mile of the hike is actually on Brunnerdale Road. Not sure why the trail doesn't continue lakeside. Good family outing.... |
