So many cool things to do at Miskita Lake, so little time. There are some brilliant whitewater spots on Little Beaver Creek, and going for a hike along the Fishermans Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Summertime at Miskita Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. Highs throughout the winter are ordinarily in the 30's,       and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Miskita Lake dip into the 10's. Visit Coalbank Run if you're here at Miskita Lake, and Miskita Lake is a glorious spot to visit for more than one day, Orchard Grove Campsites is a glorious spot to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Baymont Inn and Suites E. Liverpool is a great site to spend a night or two, and an afternoon playing golf at Grassy Lane Golf Club is always                  a bliss. Crawford's Camping Park is a pleasant local campground, and you'll probably meet some people from New Castle here. On a good day at Miskita Lake you can take a hike along the Vondergreen Trail. A tremendous close by hotel is AmeriHost Inn & Suites East Liverpool, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Gretchens Lock Trail.
