You'll need more than a day to discover everything Mirror Lake has to offer, you can camp at Rustic Acres Campground; the snow is good at Boyce Park. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Mirror Lake. Through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. for you then we recommend Jacobs Creek, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by nearby Butlers Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. If you're visiting Mirror Lake from Pittsburgh, you won't be the only one, and if you need a location to stay Hampton Inn Belle Vernon, PA is a great choice.
