At Minsi Lake during the warm months highs are in the 80's; the nighttime is quite cooler of course, frequently in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Minsi Lake temperatures dip to the 10's. The Kittatinny Mountain towers over Minsi Lake, and if you like swamps you're in luck, Bear Swamp is right close by.

This lake is so wonderful. The snow is nice at Shawnee Mountain, and there's perfect hiking along the Indian Trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Minsi Lake has to offer, you can camp at Hickory Lake Campground,
and you get a glorious sight of Kittatinny Mountain from here. Yeah, come here to Minsi Lake for a glorious time. After a long day outdoors Budget Host Inn Stroudsburg is a great site to spend a night or two, and this is a popular site for people from East Stroudsburg.
