If you come at the right time of year, Pocono Creek offers some wonderful whitewater, and on a beautiful day you obtain a pleasant vista of Kittatinny Mountain from Minsi Lake.       All through the summer months at Minsi Lake highs are generally in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Minsi Lake through the winter typically plunge into the 10's. Shady Acres Campgrounds is a great local campground; you'll find a charming lake called Minis Lake. Minsi Lake is a relatively wet place typically with much rainfall;                  during the month of May you get the most rain around here while February is ordinarily the driest month. Minsi Lake lays in the shadow of the Kittatinny Mountain. If you came for an overnight stay Hickory Lake Campground is a nice site to camp, and if you need a site to stay Super 8 Motel - Stroudsburg is a fine choice. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Martins Creek, and a day on the slopes of Alpine Mountain is just what you need. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Minsi Lake you acquire some tremendous water scenery at Minsi Lake Dam, and while you're here, you could also go to stunning Stoefflet Pond. This lake is so wonderful.
