For the duration of the long summer days here at Lake Minisink, high temperatures mostly get into the 70's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's; night lows during the winter for Lake Minisink tend to be in the 10's. Just can't get enough of Lake Minisink. Bush Kill Creek is a great whitewater spot near Lake       Minisink. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Lake Minisink has to offer, you can camp at Ken's woods Campgrounds. There's so much to do here at Lake Minisink that you need to camp here for a while, Outdoor World Timothy Lake is a brilliant place for that, and if you haven’t been to Delaware National Scenic River, you must schedule some time for it while you're here. The high level of precipitation makes Lake Minisink a rather wet location; of                  all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain; February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. If you like swamps, you're in luck, Nebo Swamp is right close by, and you'll stumble on a lovely lake called Porters Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Near Lake Minisink you find the Bald Barren Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail; if you're here, you could also visit lovely Pickerel Lake. If you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Hornbeck's Creek, and going for a hike on the Flat Ridge Trail is always a glorious adventure. So many fun things to do at Lake Minisink, so little time. While you're here at Lake Minisink you will meet lots of folks from close by East Stroudsburg. You can take a little spree to Lake Minisink Dam while you're here at Lake Minisink, and you can go for a hike on the Kinney Trail.
