Float down the rapids of Pocono Creek in a kayak, and camping at Silver Valley Campsites is always a perfect experience. Lake Mineola is a wet spot that gets a lot of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is May while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor is a tremendous place near Lake Mineola,       and a lake nearby is Weir Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Lake Mineola, you could also have a look at nearby Hiawatha Lake, and pleasant hiking is available along the Indian Trail. Lake Mineola really is in the middle of a lovely outdoors paradise. After a long day outdoors Chateau Resort at Camelback is a great location to spend a night or two, and don't leave Lake Mineola without first going for a hike along the Camelback Trail. Paddling                  on Lehigh River is so much fun, and you'll meet a lot of folks from East Stroudsburg here. During the warmest time of the year at Lake Mineola temperatures are generally in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Lake Mineola are in the 10's. Camping is available at Chestnut Lake Campground.
