Head up to Alpine Mountain and strap some skis to your feet, and don't miss out on a splendid swamp; Eschenbaugh Swamp is right here at Millpond Number One. This lake is so wonderful. You'll hit upon a beautiful lake called       Tobyhanna Lake near Millpond Number One, and going for a hike on the Camelback Trail is always a tremendous adventure. The annual rainfall here at Millpond Number One is about average; through the month of June you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is January. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Camelback, and why not camp at Mt Pncono Campground if you're here at Millpond Number One. Visit East Branch Tobyhanna                  Creek since you're here at Millpond Number One, and do visit Echo Lake, it's a pretty lake. Wallenpaupack Creek is a great whitewater spot right next door to Millpond Number One, and close by you hit upon the Lakeside Trail which is a perfect hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Indian Trail, and a tremendous place to camp here at Millpond Number One is Hemlock Campground and Cottages. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the area near Millpond Number One has to offer. Comfort Inn & Suites is a delightful site to get some rest. After a long day outdoors Quality Inn & Suites is a nice site to spend a night or two, also Tobyhanna Number Two Dam is worth a visit if you're here. Through the days of summer at Millpond Number One highs are commonly in the 80's. Summer night lows dip down to the 60's.
