Pennsylvania has many beautiful lakes and Mill Run Reservoir is one of them. Now, you may imagine that's heaps but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Mill Run Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. A cool spot to stop by right next door to Mill Run Reservoir is Devils Elbow. | | wonderful. There are some splendid whitewater spots on Clearfield Creek, and a great close by hotel is Hampton Inn Altoona. Red Hill is a peak you can see from Mill Run Reservoir; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Blue Knob. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Little Conemaugh River; why not go to Mill Run Dam since you're here. from Altoona for sure; a great site to explore close by is Kittanning Gap. Mill Run Reservoir gets a normal amount of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is July, and the driest of the months is February. At Mill Run Reservoir
during the summertime months highs are in the 80's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Mill Run Reservoir. Kittanning
Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and don't forget to take a nice little trip to Dry Gap Run. Mill Run Reservoir is great enough to spend more than a day at, Zimmie's Campground is a great local campground, and
after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Altoona, Pa is a good location to spend a night or two. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Mill Run Reservoir. A golf course close to Mill Run Reservoir is Park Hills Country Club, and do explore Allegheny Reservoir, it's a beautiful lake.
