Beautiful Mill Run Lake has much to offer visitors. Now, you may imagine that's lots but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Mill Run Lake. You're sure to encounter some wonderful folks from Selinsgrove here, and Mountain Lake Campground is a good campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Mifflintown, and if you came for an overnight stay Gray Squirrel Campsites is a wonderful place to camp. Whitewater

| | paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Elk Creek; you can have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Summit Trail. Mill Run Lake gets a great deal of water; most of the rain falls through June, and the driest of the months is January. If you need a site to stay BUDGET INN is a splendid choice, and going for a hike along the Cold Spring Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. during the summer months are in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Mill Run Lake.
Getting to Beaver Creek from Mill Run Lake is painless, and obviously, this is a brilliant vicinity for folks who like lakes, Pa-638 Reservoir is a lake close by. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at close by Walker Lake, and hiking along the Horseshoe Bend Trail is tremendous fun.

Penn's Creek Camp Ground
 | 8 PHOTOS Penns Creek Campground is located along Penns Creek at the base of Jacks Mountain in the beautiful Buffalo Valley of Union County Pennsylvania. The campground was a former water powered sawmill. The saw mill washed away in a flood but the mill race and dam that powered the water wheel are still in use today. The campground is situated between the mill race and the main creek.
We have sites to fit your every need from primative tent sites to full hook up drive thru sites. We are open from Mid April to Mid October and offer hot showers, dump station, picnic pavilion, horse shoes, basketball, large playground and campground wide activities on most weekends.
Holidays almost always require reservations and some sites are booked years in advance.
Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash at all time and must be quiet.
Storage for Trailers, RVs available.
