There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Mill Creek Reservoir. Good hiking is available along the Clark Run Trail; dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Johnstown. Camping is available at Mirror Lake Resort, and The Springs at Laurel Mountain has wonderful slopes and a friendly staff. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Mill Creek Reservoir without first going for       a hike along the Roger Mountain Trail, and Mill Creek Reservoir is a place with many visitors from Somerset. Lots of rainfall falls at Mill Creek Reservoir; throughout the month of July you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is February. Summertime highs at Mill Creek Reservoir mostly tend to be in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Mill Creek Reservoir dipping                  down into the 10's through winter nights. Cheney Run is a good location to check out, and Mill Creek Number Two Dam is pretty. Quemahoning Creek has a great whitewater paddling spot close by, and you can go for a hike on the Laurel Highlands Trail. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Paint Creek.
