A day on the slopes of Ski Big Bear is just what you need, and Bear Trap Mountain is a peak you can spot from Mill Brook Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the West Branch Bruce Lake Trail is tremendous fun, and Gumble Brothers Dam has delightful water scenery. Stay the night at Caffrey Campground, and folks from East Stroudsburg love to come here. Going for a hike along the East Branch Bruce       Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and why not head up to Tanglwood and strap some skis to your feet. Mill Brook Pond gets a good deal of water; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is wonderful on Wallenpaupack Creek - East Branch, and after a long day outdoors Nemanie Village is a splendid place to spend a night or two.                  You'll need more than a day to look at everything Mill Brook Pond has to offer, you can camp at Caffrey Recreation Area; Cricket Hill Golf Club is a glorious golf course nearby.
