There's whitewater on Wallenpaupack Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and Lake Moc A Tec Campground is a tremendous campground nearby. What a spot this is for outdoors people. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Pocono Lakes Region       is a wonderful location to spend a night or two, and going for a hike on the Snow Shanty Trail is always a great adventure. During the summer here at Meigs Pond, high temperatures generally reach the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. Highs all through the wintertime are ordinarily in the 20's while Meigs Pond nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's. There is a tremendous hiking trail close to Meigs Pond called the                  Boundary Trail, and you can never get enough of the great skiing at Ski Big Bear. All the water falling down from the sky makes Meigs Pond a wet place; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is February. Jones Creek is near Meigs Pond and is always a joy to stop by, and on a fine day you can take a hike along the Lakeside Trail. This is a good area for people who like lakes. Cooks Pond is a lake close at hand. This lake is so wonderful. Meigs Pond is a spot with many visitors from East Stroudsburg, and nice skiing awaits you at Mount Airy Lodge. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes?
