Beautiful Meadow Run Lake has much to offer visitors. This lake is so wonderful. On a fine day at Meadow Run Lake you can take a hike along the Pinnacle Trail, and some of the water close by flows, like Gardner Creek. Looking for something near Meadow Run Lake? Deep Hollow Pond is in close proximity; there's whitewater on Lackawanna River for all you adrenaline junkies.

If you're here, you might as well have a look at Deep Hollow, and why not head up to Montage Mountain and strap some skis to your feet. Highland Camp Ground is a good campground here, and after a long day outdoors Red Roof Inn Wilkes-Barre is a great place to spend a night or two.

This is a popular spot for people from Scranton—Wilkes-Barre, and there is a splendid hiking trail nearby called the Choke Creek Trail. Playing golf is lots of fun at Hollenback Golf Course, and close by you hit upon the Refuge Trail
which is a good hiking trail. Camping at Meadow Run Lake is magnificent fun, Lehigh Gorge Campground is a magnificent local campground, and a wonderful close by hotel is Best Western East Mountain Inn & Suites.
Through the summer
at Meadow Run Lake highs are usually in the 70's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's with temperatures at Meadow Run Lake dipping down into the 10's all through winter
nights. Meadow Run Lake is a good place of normal precipitation; the month with most of the rain is July, and January is the month with the least moisture. A day on the slopes of Jack Frost is just what you need It's always wonderful to have a look at Whirlpool Canyon Falls.
