Yep, outdoors amusing stuff to do are truly abundant here at Meadow Run Lake. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Choke Creek Trail, and playing golf is lots of fun at Hollenback Golf Course. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western East Mountain Inn & Suites, and get dripping wet paddling on Bear Creek. What would winter be without some skiing at Jack Frost, and       don't leave Meadow Run Lake without first paying a visit to Whirlpool Canyon Falls. Take a hike on the Refuge Trail, and Deep Hollow Pond is a nearby lake that you could go to. High temperatures at Meadow Run Lake during the months of summer are in the 70's; the night is slightly colder of course, commonly in the 50's. During the winter highs are typically in the 20's; after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Meadow Run Lake descend into                  the 10's. The slopes of Montage Mountain are so inviting noone can resist, and camping at Lehigh Gorge Campground is always a fine experience. So many fun things in close proximity to Meadow Run Lake, completely phenomenal. If you need a place to stay Wilkes Barre Red Roof Inn is a good choice; the scenery at Laurel Run Number Two Dam is beautiful. From a precipitation point of view Meadow Run Lake is a pretty typical place; July is the month that gets the most rain while January is regularly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Lots of folks from Scranton—Wilkes-Barre come to Meadow Run Lake; close by you stumble on Deep Hollow which is a good site to stop by. Meadow Run Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Sandy Valley Campground is a brilliant local campground. This lake is so wonderful.
