A visit to Meadow Lake is always a good idea. A journey to Delaware National Scenic River is worthwhile, and Delaware water Gap Koa is a splendid campground nearby. Now, you may assume that's lots but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Meadow Lake. If you need a site to stay Caesars Pocono Palace is a fine choice, and why not have a look at Meadow Lake Dam if you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Kahkhout Mountain is easy to spot from Meadow Lake,

| | and you can run the rapids of Bush Kill Creek.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Value Inn East Stroudsburg is a pleasant location to get some rest, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Flat Ridge Trail. The Smith Trail is a delightful hiking trail near Meadow Lake; Sunfish Pond is a nearby lake that you could take a look at.

of the year is February. While you're here at Meadow Lake you can take a hike along the Bald Barren Trail, and a fine spot for whitewater paddling is Brodhead Creek. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Meadow
Lake. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. Highs all through the winter are usually in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Meadow Lake are in the 10's.
This lake is so wonderful. If you're
a golfer then a fine nearby course is Country Club of the Poconos at Big Ridge; the snow is wonderful at Alpine Mountain. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Shawnee Mountain, and there are plenty of people
from East Stroudsburg here. Do visit White Heron Lake close to Meadow Lake, it's a pretty lake, and you can stay the night at Fox wood Family Campground.
