There's so much to do here at Meadow Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lehigh Gorge Campground is a wonderful location for that, and there's whitewater on Spring Brook for all you adrenaline junkies. Now, you may think that's heaps but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Meadow Lake. The great people of Scranton—Wilkes-Barre like to hang out close by, and Meadow Run Ponds       is a nearby lake that you could pop by. This lake is so wonderful. Gotta ski! Montage Mountain is a magnificent spot to do that, and a round of golf at nearby Wilkes Barre Golf Club is a splendid way to kill some time. An average amount of rain falls at Meadow Lake; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain; January meanwhile is the driest month. Bear Swamp is an attention-grabbing swamp in the vicinity of Meadow Lake, and while you're here you                  can take a hike along the Refuge Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A magnificent nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (Airport, and a lake close by is Mountain Lake. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a splendid time here at Meadow Lake. Courtyard By Marriott Scranton is a splendid place to get some rest; Red Run is near Meadow Lake and is always a joy to stop by. The Boulder Field Trail is a nice hiking trail near Meadow Lake; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Bear Creek. The slopes of Jack Frost are so inviting noone can resist, and Meadow Lake Run is an exciting thing to check out. The warmest time of the year at Meadow Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Meadow Lake. On a great day at Meadow Lake you can take a hike along the Choke Creek Trail.
