All through the summer months here at McMurrays Lake, high temperatures regularly get into the 80's; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's; night lows in the 10's for McMurrays Lake. Courtyard Pittsburgh Greensburg is a nice site to get some rest. You'll need more than a day to explore everything McMurrays Lake has to offer, you can camp       at Fox Den Acres Campgrounds. A magnificent nearby hotel is Greensburg Knights Inn, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Crabtree Creek. Really great skiing awaits you at Boyce Park, and Mountain Valley Lake is a nice lake nearby. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at McMurrays Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Fox Den Acres RV Resort is a glorious location for that, and a round of golf at nearby Robertshaw Acres Golf Club is a                  great way to kill some time. The amount of rain that falls at McMurrays Lake is close to the national average; the month with most of the rain is July, and February meanwhile is the driest month. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Seven Springs. Be careful coming to McMurrays Lake, you might not ever want to go home again.
