What a nice lake McConnell Pond is. Camping at Lake Greeley Camp is always a tremendous experience, and enjoy a round of golf at Cricket Hill Golf Club. A common amount of rainfall falls here at McConnell Pond; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. There's some flowing water close by, Billings Creek is a stream you can pop by while you're here;

| | McConnell Pond is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Lake Adventure Community Assoc is a delightful local campground.
There are some delightful whitewater spots on Shohola Creek; since you're here you can take a hike along the Crawford Trail. Have a great hiking adventure along the Maple Brook Trail; a perfect close by hotel is The Lodge at Woodloch. So much cool stuff to do at McConnell Pond, so little time. Scenic River is a national park worth checking out, and McConnell Lake Dam is not far at all from McConnell Pond.
This lake is so wonderful. The Lodge at Woodloch is a delightful spot to get some rest, and the slopes of Tanglwood
are so inviting nobody can resist. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Lackawaxen River, and on a delightful day you can take a hike along the Flat Ridge Trail. What would winter be without
some skiing at Ski Big Bear.
For the period of the days of summer highs here at McConnell Pond reach the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are typically in the 30's with temperatures at McConnell Pond dipping down into the 10's through winter nights.
