If you need a place to stay Comfort Inn West is a tremendous choice. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Marysville Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Mount Oliver Campgrounds. This lake is so wonderful. The Darlington Trail is a brilliant hiking trail right next door to Marysville Reservoir, and a great nearby hotel is Ramada Limited Mechanicsburg. Beaver Creek       has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot close by, and on a good day you can take a hike along the Dark Hollow Trail. From a rain point of view Marysville Reservoir is a rather common site; the month with most of the rain is May, and January is the month with the least moisture. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Marysville Reservoir. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 30's,                  and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Marysville Reservoir sink into the 10's. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Ski Roundtop, and paddling on Bermudian Creek is so much fun. And that's not all you can do here at Marysville Reservoir. There is a magnificent hiking trail next to Marysville Reservoir called the Victoria Trail; Marysville Reservoir is close to Lambs Gap which is without doubt worth a visit. At Marysville Reservoir you always meet someone from Harrisburg-Carlisle, and of course Rattling Run is a scenic stream that is worth a visit. This lake is so wonderful.
