This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is pleasant on Spring Brook, and Marshwood Reservoir is a pleasant site to visit for more than one day, Lake Greeley Camp is a pleasant site to camp nearby. There are magnificent places to look at along the Refuge Trail. Marshwood Reservoir is a wet place that gets a large amount of precipitation; the wettest month       of the year is regularly June, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month of the year is February. Paddling on Lackawanna River is so much fun; if you need a place to stay Days Inn Dunmore-Scranton is a fine choice. This lake is so wonderful. Golf can be played at Wemberly Hills Golf Course, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Montage Mountain is pretty near. For the period of the long summer days here at Marshwood Reservoir, high temperatures                  generally get into the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are regularly in the 20's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Marshwood Reservoir descend into the 10's. You'll stumble on a beautiful lake called Dunmore Reservoir Number Three near Marshwood Reservoir, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn SCRANTON-EAST (DUNMORE) is a tremendous location to spend a night or two. So much cool stuff to do here at Marshwood Reservoir, too great to be true. A striking lake like O'Conner Reservoir near Marshwood Reservoir is a perfect spot to go to, and you can stay the night at Clayton Park Recreational Area.
