Lakes are such calm spots, why not go to Camp Sun Mountain Lake next to Marshall Lake, and if you need a site to stay Caesars Pocono Palace is a great choice. Marshall Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; May is the month that gets the most rain while February is generally the driest month. In the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pocono Creek. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy

| | themselves. The snow is wonderful at Alpine Mountain, and a short tour to Buttermilk Falls is always worthwhile. There are other places here than Marshall Lake, for example White Heron Lake, and going for a hike on the Bald Barren Trail is always a good adventure. If you go for the outdoors, you'll love Marshall Lake. Brodhead Creek is a great whitewater spot near Marshall Lake, and Fox wood Family Campground is a great local campground. a golfer then a wonderful close by course is Country Club of the Poconos at Big Ridge. This lake is so wonderful. Marshall Lake Dam is scenic and it's close to Marshall Lake; getting to Newton Run from Marshall Lake is easy. At Marshall
Lake during the summertime months highs are in the 80's; the overnight is slightly chillier of course, typically in the 50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to
Marshall Lake. The Smith Trail is a brilliant hiking trail in the vicinity of Marshall Lake, and Delaware National Scenic River is a great location close by. Head up to Shawnee Mountain and strap some skis to your feet, and nearby you find the Kinney Trail which is a great hiking trail.
