After a long day outdoors Shawnee Village Resort is a good site to spend a night or two, and whitewater paddling is great on Brodhead Creek.                  This lake is so wonderful. You can take a little visit to Marshall Lake Dam since you're here at Marshall Lake, and lovely scenery and magnificent skiing is what you obtain at Alpine Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. An afternoon playing golf at Country Club of the Poconos at Big Ridge is always a diversion; get soaked paddling on Pocono Creek. What a place this is for outdoors people. Do pay a visit to Delaware National Scenic River since you're here at Marshall Lake; you can have a glorious hiking adventure along the Smith Trail. While you're here at Marshall Lake you can take a hike along the Kinney Trail, and Marshall Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Otter Lake Camp-resort is a glorious local campground. High temperatures at Marshall Lake during the summertime months are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. All through the winter highs are commonly in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Marshall Lake. Gotta ski!
