If you came for an overnight stay Highland Camp Ground is a good spot to camp, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Clarks Summit is a brilliant spot to spend a night or two. Paddling on Spring Brook is so much fun, obviously you could also explore Interlaken Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. At Maple Lake you can catch a glimpse of West       Mountain, and the snow is fine at Montage Mountain. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Maple Lake. Why not camp at How Kola Camp if you're here at Maple Lake; do take a hike on the Pinnacle Trail. Glen Oak Country Club is a golf course next to Maple Lake; why not have a look at close by South Branch Leach Creek while you're here at Maple Lake. Maple Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; through the month of June you get the most                  rain around here, and February is the month with the least moisture. Maple Lake is not far at all from Scranton—Wilkes-Barre, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Choke Creek Trail. For the duration of the summer, highs mostly are in the 70's at Maple Lake, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Maple Lake. Be careful coming to Maple Lake, you might not ever want to return home again. Dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Clarks Summit; you can have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Refuge Trail. Interlaken Dam is not far at all from Maple Lake, and a day on the slopes of Elk Mountain is just what you need. This lake is so wonderful. Soar down the rapids of Lackawanna River in a kayak; most likely you're looking for close by lakes?
