Maple Lake is a lake worth visiting. This lake is so wonderful. Why not stop by nearby South Branch Leach Creek if you're here at Maple Lake; get soaked paddling on Spring Brook. A great deal of precipitation falls at Maple Lake; the month with most of the rain is June, and the driest month of the year is February. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Lackawanna River. Lodge Clarks Summit is a great place to spend a night or two; there's some interesting stuff to see at Interlaken Dam near Maple Lake. If you came to camp Highland Camp Ground is a good location to do that, and Glen Oak Country Club
is a golf course nearby. High temperatures at Maple Lake during the warmest time of the year are in the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. Highs during the winter are generally in the 20's; overnight
lows during the wintertime for Maple Lake tend to be in the 10's. Now, you may imagine that's a lot but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Maple Lake.
