Through the days of summer, highs commonly are in the 70's at Maple Lake, and the overnight is slightly chillier of course, generally in the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Maple Lake dip into       the 10's. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a brilliant time here at Maple Lake. Here at Maple Lake there are plenty of folks from Scranton—Wilkes-Barre. The skiing at Montage Mountain is good, and why not camp at Lake Greeley Camp if you're here at Maple Lake. Maple Lake is next to Maple Lake Dam which is a pretty site positively worth checking out, and perhaps you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Benjamin Pond is just a very short distance away.                  If the weather is glorious here at Maple Lake, you can go for a hike along the Refuge Trail, and Clarion Hotel Scranton is a great site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is glorious on Tunkhannock Creek; everyone close by loves skiing at Jack Frost. You could also pop by Hazard Pond if you're here at Maple Lake; it's nearby, and Bear Swamp is an out of the ordinary swamp close to Maple Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Six Springs Creek is a wonderful site to have a look at, and in the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Spring Brook. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff at Maple Lake. The Choke Creek Trail is a splendid hiking trail in the neighborhood of Maple Lake, and a pleasant close by hotel is Holiday Inn SCRANTON-EAST (DUNMORE).
