Manxanedo Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. This lake is so wonderful. At Manxanedo Lake you always meet someone from East Stroudsburg, and what would winter be without some skiing at Alpine Mountain. On a good day at Manxanedo Lake you can take a hike along the Snow Shanty Trail, and a spree to Delaware National Scenic River is recommended. This lake is so wonderful. Enjoy a round of golf at Evergreen Golf Club not far from Manxanedo Lake;

| | soar down the rapids of Brodhead Creek in a kayak.
Manxanedo Lake commonly gets lots of rain; May is when you get the most rain here; February meanwhile is the driest month. Swamps are exciting places and Ivan Swamp right next door to Manxanedo Lake is no exception, and do visit Maryanedo Dam since you're here. The Lake Laura Trail is a perfect hiking trail next to Manxanedo Lake, and if you've had enough of Manxanedo Lake, Hallowood Lake is close by.

And that's not all you can do here at Manxanedo Lake. Hillside Inn is a fine place to get some rest; Manxanedo Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Mountain Vista Campground is a great local campground. Get yourself into
a kayak and hit Paradise Creek; gorgeous scenery and magnificent skiing is what you obtain at Shawnee Mountain. Dry warm beds await you at Shannon Inn; some nearby water includes Havemeyer Brook.
At Manxanedo Lake all through
the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at
Manxanedo Lake temperatures fall to the 10's. That right there is a heap already, but it continues; Manxanedo Lake has it all. There's so much to do here at Manxanedo Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Cranberry Run Campground
is a pleasant spot for that, and if the weather is nice, you can go for a hike along the Burley Inlet Trail.
