The high level of rain makes Manxanedo Lake a pretty wet site; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain; February is when it's the driest. Delaware National Scenic River is one of the destinations right next door to Manxanedo Lake that are glorious to go to. High temperatures at Manxanedo Lake during the days of summer are in the 70's while night lows are mostly in the 50's.       During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's while Manxanedo Lake overnight low temperatures all through the winter are in the 10's. A good nearby hotel is Days Inn East Stroudsburg. There's so much to do here at Manxanedo Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Cranberry Run Campground is a great place for that. Hiawatha Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out; you can go for a hike on the Burley Inlet Trail. This lake is so wonderful.                  Havemeyer Brook is a charming stream that is worth checking out, and there are plenty of people from East Stroudsburg here. Just can't get enough of Manxanedo Lake. An afternoon playing golf at Evergreen Golf Club is always a pleasure, and a great site for whitewater paddling is Brodhead Creek. Really good skiing awaits you at Alpine Mountain, and don't leave Manxanedo Lake without first going for a hike along the Snow Shanty Trail. So many fun things to do at Manxanedo Lake, so little time. Swamps can be such attention-grabbing places, explore Ivan Swamp if you're here at Manxanedo Lake, and great hiking is available along the Lake Laura Trail. Paradise Creek is a perfect whitewater spot in the vicinity of Manxanedo Lake; since you're here, you could also take a look at delightful Lake Manzanedo. This lake is so wonderful. Shawnee Mountain has nice slopes and a friendly staff; after a long day outdoors Shadowbrook Resort is a great place to spend a night or two.
