Going for a hike on the Brown Trail is always a perfect adventure; you can never get enough of the great skiing at Tanglwood. Pond Brook is a fine local stream; dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Hamlin. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Mang Pond. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's       to Mang Pond. Near Mang Pond you come across the Boundary Trail which is a good hiking trail, and at Mang Dam close to Mang Pond there are some attention-grabbing things to see. This lake is so wonderful. This is a splendid region for people who like lakes. Big Spring Pond is a lake nearby, and why not camp at Secluded Acres Campground while you're here at Mang Pond. There are brilliant spots to look at along the White Deer Trail. Yeah, come here to Mang                  Pond for a glorious time. Get wet paddling on Middle Creek - Lackawaxen Tributary, and camping is available at Lake Mocatek Campground. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Caesars Cove Haven is a wonderful place to spend a night or two; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at nearby Cobb Pond. Mang Pond gets a great deal of water; June is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month of the year is February.
