What a nice lake Mammoth Lake is. While you're here at Mammoth Lake you can take a hike along the Great Gorge Trail, and Fourmile Run is a delightful whitewater spot nearby. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Norvelt Golf Club is in the neighborhood, and after a long day outdoors Four Points By Sheraton Greensburg is a glorious location to spend a night or two. | | place for whitewater paddling is Jacobs Creek. Mammoth Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Laurel Highlands Campland is a fine local campground. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. A lake nearby is Marguerite Reservoir; Mountain View Inn is a good place to get some rest. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Hidden Valley, and going for a hike along the Brant Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. | |

This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Donegal Campground is a fine place to do that, and you can have a splendid hiking adventure along the Darr Trail. The warmest time of the year at Mammoth Lake comes with high temperatures
in the 80's, and the nighttime is slightly chillier of course, ordinarily in the 60's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Mammoth Lake temperatures dip to the 10's. An out
of the ordinary thing to take a look at in the vicinity of Mammoth Lake is Mammoth Lake Dam, and Mammoth Lake is not the only location close by, County Reservoir is a close by lake. Mammoth Lake gets a typical amount of rainfall; July is when you get the most rain here, and February is the month with the least moisture.

 | 17 miles away We spent the whole day fishing CGL on 7/27/08, this was my first visit. The lake is only an average of 4 FEET DEEP! We did find an occasional 5 foot spot, but he weeds are right up to the surface making trolling very difficult. We fished the entire lake and used a fish finder thruout, we marked very little fish.
