If you need a site to stay Florence Motel is a splendid choice, and float down the rapids of Little Beaver Creek in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. You're sure to bump into some wonderful folks from Weirton-Steubenville here; Kobuta Hotel is a tremendous site to get some rest. The amount of precipitation that falls at Main Lake is close to the national average; July is the month that gets the       most rain; February is the month with the least moisture. Main Lake is a wonderful location to camp, Orchard Grove Campsites is a wonderful location, and you can go for a hike on the Fishermans Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Montour Run offers some splendid whitewater. If you're a golfer then a nice nearby course is Marada Golf Course, and don't leave Main Lake without first going for a hike along the Gretchens Lock                  Trail. For the duration of the long summer days at Main Lake highs are typically in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Main Lake. Good hiking is available along the Vondergreen Trail, and the scenery at Raccoon Creek State Park Dam is stunning. Yep, outdoors entertaining stuff to do are beyond doubt plentiful here at Main Lake.
