Comfort Inn Indiana is a good spot to get some rest. Do visit Pond F close to Main Impoundment, it's a pretty lake; some close by water includes McKee Run. Wheel- In Campground is a magnificent campground nearby, and while you're here, you could also take a look at gorgeous Cummings Reservoir. The Laurel Highlands Trail offers hiking at its best; during your trip here you'll meet some folks from Indiana       for sure. And that's not all you can do here at Main Impoundment. The summit of Coleman Hill can be seen from Main Impoundment; R and P Coal Company Mine Waste Bank Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out. At Main Impoundment during the summer months highs are in the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. Throughout the winter the highs are regularly in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Main Impoundment are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful.                  Enjoy a round of golf at Meadow Lane Golf Course not far from Main Impoundment; there are some great whitewater spots on Tubmill Creek. Main Impoundment is a delightful site to visit for more than one day, Silver Canoe Campground is a delightful site to camp nearby, and if you come at the right time of year, Blacklick Creek offers some perfect whitewater. Main Impoundment regularly gets much precipitation; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
