In Pennsylvania there are many beautiful lakes, Mack Lake is one of them. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Elk Mountain, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Clarks Summit. Mack Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; most of the rain falls during June; February on the other hand is the driest. If you come at the right time of year, Spring Brook offers some glorious whitewater; why not camp at Highland Camp Ground while you're here at Mack Lake.

| | For the duration of the summertime here at Mack Lake, high temperatures frequently reach the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Mack Lake dip into the 10's. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff near Mack Lake. From Mack Lake you get a tremendous view of Griffin Hill; if you need a location to stay Econo Lodge Clarks Summit is a wonderful choice. | |

Drift down the rapids of Lackawanna River in a kayak, and the skiing at Montage Mountain is wonderful.
This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Mack Lake you will meet lots of people from nearby Scranton—Wilkes-Barre; a
golf course nearby is Summit Hills Golf Course. While you're here at Mack Lake you can take a hike along the Choke Creek Trail, and do go to Cobbs Lake Dam while you're here. What a location this is for outdoors people.
Hiking
along the Pinnacle Trail is glorious fun, and why not stop by a swamp like Corby Swamp since you're here at Mack Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Refuge Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area; if you came for an overnight stay How Kola Camp is a magnificent spot to camp.
