If you are in this part of Pennsylvania make sure to pay a visit to Mack Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Near Mack Lake you hit upon the Refuge Trail which is a splendid hiking trail, and if you need a spot to stay Ramada Plaza Hotel is a great choice. Mack Lake is a wonderful location to camp, How Kola Camp is a wonderful location; Comfort Inn Clarks Summit is a great spot to get some rest. Going for a hike on the Choke Creek Trail is always a tremendous adventure, and why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Summit Hills Golf Course. Montage Mountain is a great local ski area; not far from Mack Lake you'll locate Fords Lake which is a gorgeous lake. The Pinnacle Trail is a great hiking trail right next door to Mack Lake; Cobbs Lake Dam is a wonderful place, unquestionably worth going to. You imagine that's enough? Just
getting warmed up. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Elk Mountain; a swamp like Corby Swamp right next door to Mack Lake has lots of interesting things to see. At Mack Lake during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's.
Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's while Mack Lake night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's.
Highland Camp Ground is a delightful campground here; Lackawanna
River has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. From Mack Lake you obtain a tremendous view of Griffin Hill, and you're sure to bump into some fine folks from Scranton—Wilkes-Barre here.
