Lower Lake is not the only place close by, Wilsons Swamp Pond is a close by lake; Shadowbrook Resort is a nice place to get some rest. During the warmest time of the year at Lower Lake temperatures are generally in the 70's with night lows in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for Lower Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Lower       Lake Dam has great water scenery and it's right next door to Lower Lake. It's always glorious to visit Little Falls, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Tanglwood since you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Lower Lake is right by the Burley Inlet Trail, and going to Delaware National Scenic River is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. On a delightful day you acquire a sight of Pocono Mountains from Lower Lake; soar down                  the rapids of Wallenpaupack Creek in a kayak. You can never get enough of the great skiing at Ski Big Bear; folks from East Stroudsburg love to come here. If you came to camp Ledgedale Recreation Area is a delightful place to do that, and if you need a place to stay Skytop Lodge is a great choice. So many cool things to do at Lower Lake, so little time. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lower Lake; Boundary Trail is a splendid local trail, and taking a little spree to nearby Pickerel Point is a wonderful idea. A lake nearby is Promised Land Lake, and get drenched paddling on Wallenpaupack Creek - East Branch. The high level of rainfall makes Lower Lake a pretty wet spot; the wettest month of the year is frequently May, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is February. The Pocono Mountains is one of the things that make Lower Lake so brilliant, and camping at Secluded Acres Campground is always a great experience. Just can't get enough of Lower Lake.
