This lake is so wonderful. Everybody close by loves skiing at Big Boulder, and a great location to camp here at Lower Klondike Pond is Hemlock Campground and Cottages. An average amount of precipitation falls at Lower Klondike Pond; through the month of June you get the most rain around here; January is when it's the driest. Camelback is a wonderful local ski area; Wallenpaupack Creek - East Branch is a glorious whitewater spot close by. If you fancy the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Lower Klondike Pond. There is a perfect hiking trail near Lower Klondike Pond called the Refuge Trail, and a delightful place for whitewater paddling is Wallenpaupack Creek. The good people of East Stroudsburg like to hang out nearby, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn & Suites is a splendid spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful.
