Lower Dam is a lake worth visiting. After a long day outdoors Ramada Pottsville is a delightful site to spend a night or two, and if you get bored of Lower Dam you could also visit close by Silver Creek Reservoir. Whitewater paddling is wonderful on Nescopeck Creek. This lake is so wonderful. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Blue Marsh is near Lower Dam; a quick journey to Silfis Run is without doubt a good idea.

| | Lower Dam; the wettest month of the year is commonly June, that's the one that rains the most, and February is the month with the least moisture. Stay the night at Christmas Pines Camp Ground, and the scenery at Lower Dam is wonderful. This place, Lower Dam, it truly has so much outdoors exciting stuff. Good hiking is available along the Yellick Path, and in case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Black Creek.

wonderful. There's so much to do here at Lower Dam that you need to camp here for a while, Appalachian Campsites is a glorious location for that; hiking is a popular thing to do around Lower Dam; Creek Trail is a splendid local trail.
Lots of folks from Pottsville come to Lower Dam, and Stairway Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit. All through the summertime at Lower Dam temperatures are usually in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's regularly
in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and overnight lows throughout the wintertime for Lower Dam tend to be in the 10's.
There's great hiking along the Sand Spring Trail, and a brilliant nearby hotel is Days Inn Pottsville.
