Lower Birchwood Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is so wonderful. Lower Birchwood Lake Dam is not far at all from Lower Birchwood Lake, and a nice place for whitewater paddling is Hornbeck's Creek. Yeah, come here to Lower Birchwood Lake for a glorious time. The snow is pleasant at Tanglwood. Going for a hike on the Bald Hill Trail is always a fine adventure, and don't miss out on a trip to Delaware National Scenic River

For the duration of the summertime months at Lower Birchwood Lake highs are typically in the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are
generally in the 30's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Lower Birchwood Lake temperatures descend to the 10's. It's a delightful idea to go to Nichecronk Brook, it's near Lower Birchwood Lake; you can go for a hike on
the Maple Brook Trail. Near Lower Birchwood Lake you find the Flat Ridge Trail which is a good hiking trail; if you need a place to stay Scottish Inns Milford is a fine choice.
This lake is so wonderful. Lower Birchwood Lake is
a magnificent site to visit for more than one day, River Beach Campsites is a magnificent site to camp nearby, and why not head up to Shawnee Mountain and strap some skis to your feet. Dingmans Campground is a fine campground nearby, and you'll find a beautiful lake called Lake Kemadobi.
